First comes love
Dave and Nicki met online – as many couples do now – in the spring of 2014. After talking and texting for awhile, they decided they liked each other enough to meet in person for an official date.
The date was planned (and Nicki even had the perfect outfit picked out!), but Dave’s spontaneity got the best of him. Two days before their date was planned (on April 2, 2014), Dave invited Nicki out to lunch. He was working and in uniform, but they had a memorable first lunch at Crave Food Truck in St. Augustine.
For the weeks following, Dave and Nicki were together often and “like” quickly turned to “love.”
Fast forward to just over three years later…having lived together for some time, adding another dog to their lives, taking many wonderful trips together, and making thousands of amazing memories, Dave finally got down on one knee and asked Nicki to spend the rest of her life with him.
Then comes marriage
The Proposal
Following a family dinner at Dave’s parents’ house (where both families were in attendance), Dave proposed amongst loved ones and, of course, Nicki said “yes!”
The Big Day
We tied the knot in Rockledge, FL on December 15, 2017 surrounded by our closest family and friends.
Then comes baby
We found out in June 2018 that we were going to be parents! Then in October, we found out we’re having a healthy baby boy!
We couldn’t be happier for our next big adventure together as we welcome Baby Ong in March 2019.
